E-2, F-2 and H-2 visa examinations and TB certificates

Yeongtong Top Internal Medicine Clinic provides health examinations for E-2, F-2 and H-2 visa documents. Tests and forms vary by visa type, nationality, application stage and receiving organization. Confirm the latest form and any designated-clinic requirement before visiting.

Confirm the requirements

The visa type alone does not determine the test list. Bring the latest instructions from your employer, school or immigration office. Ask the receiving organization or Korea Immigration Contact Center at 1345 whether a designated medical institution is required and whether it will accept the clinic’s certificate.

What to bring and fasting

Bring your original passport, residence card if available, the latest official form, required photographs and a medication list. Fasting is usually unnecessary for a chest X-ray alone, but may be needed when blood tests are included. Tell the clinic about possible pregnancy and previous TB treatment.

Estimated turnaround

Visa health certificates usually take 2–3 days. A chest X-ray-based TB certificate usually takes 1–2 hours if there are no abnormal findings or additional tests. IGRA usually takes 3–4 days; sputum TB culture may take several weeks or longer. Not every examination requires all these tests. Weekends, holidays or repeat tests may extend the time. Tell the clinic your deadline.

Examination and collection

The visit includes identity and form checks, a health history, the required tests and a doctor’s review. Confirm the collection date and identity documents at reception. Your English name must match your passport. Cough, fever, night sweats or weight loss need medical assessment before routine certificate processing.
